You may have heard the term “Via Ferrata” recently. Via Ferrata is rapidly becoming a favorite outdoor activity all around the world. Via Ferratas have been a popular activity overseas for some time, but have now taken popularity in Utah and other places in the U.S. A via ferrata is a route on a mountain assembled with steel cables, ladders, and other fixed anchors. Steel attachments are placed into the cliff’s face so that climbers can make their way up, down, and across the cliff. This would otherwise be impossible without assistance.
This system also makes a way for inexperienced climbers that never thought it possible to make their way onto ledges, vertical walls, and mountain peaks. Specialized equipment is used to ensure that climbers are attached to a cable at all times, which protects them from any falls. Via Ferratas provides an experience that non-rock-climbers would likely not attempt due to experience. They also don’t have to worry so much about confidence, or feeling unsafe. Our guides will make sure that you are confident and safe.
